The ski boot is the one piece of equipment that decides your whole day — and the only one you need an appointment for. From October onwards it gets noticeably busier with us: everyone arrives at once, because the first snow has fallen or the trip has been booked. Come now and you have the pick of the dates.

Why October gets tighter

Making an AquaNovoBoot is not a sales conversation but craftsmanship with a fixed sequence. We schedule around 60 minutes per customer — and that time cannot be shortened if the result is to be right. The number of appointments per day is limited accordingly.

In September those appointments still spread out nicely. From October, season preparation, trip bookings and the first cold days all coincide — and then one thing in particular gets harder: the spontaneous appointment. A “can I drop by tomorrow or the day after?” usually cannot be arranged any more.

What happens in those 60 minutes

  • Individual foot analysis — the conversation comes first: where has it been pinching, what is your skiing style, what experience do you bring?
  • Measurement and shell selection — finding the right shell is the decisive step, the “structural shell” of your AquaNovoBoot.
  • Taping the extremities — ankles and bony prominences are padded to act as spacers.
  • Anatomical custom footbed — in parallel, your individual footbed is made in a silicone sand bed.
  • The bootbox — a patented combination of air and water pressure creates the foamed inner boot and the tension-free shell at the same time.

Inventor Albrecht Zeisler received a European Patent Office patent for this process. The result: a completely tension-free shell, an inner boot with an individually shaped tongue — and no rework. You take your ski boot straight home.

Especially worthwhile before a ski trip

If you have booked one of our ski trips, plan the fitting appointment in firmly. Six days in a row on the slopes will not forgive a boot that only “almost” fits. And because we collect the equipment two to three days before departure, the boot has to be ready before then.
