"What on earth is that?" Customers stop in amazement in front of the platform bearing the words AquaNovoBoot. They watch a customer who is just stepping into a glass box with his ski boots on. Tubes poke out of the cuffs of his boots. At the same time, staff are shaking plastic bottles. Then suddenly everything happens very fast: there is a hiss and a bubble.
The bottles are screwed onto the tubes, and within a few seconds liquid runs into the inner boots. Water streams into the box. "Stay standing like that for ten minutes," Albrecht Zeisler asks the customer. The onlookers are amazed. "Almost done." The water level drops, the water drains away until the box is empty again. "The ski boot is finished," says Zeisler, helping the man out of the box. The onlookers look on in disbelief. "This is our AquaNovoBoot," laughs Zeisler. For this invention, Albrecht Zeisler was granted a patent by the European Patent Office!

This is how the AquaNovoBoot custom ski boot is made
Preliminary work
Before the ski boots go into the boot box, the following steps must be completed:
- No foot is like another. That is why it all starts with an individual foot analysis. This naturally also includes the customer describing their needs, problems or previous experiences with ski boots.
- Then the feet are measured and the optimal boot shells are selected for the customer. Finding the right shell is a crucial step that requires a great deal of experience and a sure instinct. This is the "shell" structure for the AquaNovoBoot.
- The extremities of the foot, such as ankles and ganglion cysts, are covered with pads. This creates additional volume that serves as a spacer to the shell.
- Finally, the boot shells are placed in the oven to be heated. This has nothing to do with conventional boot fitting, but is only one step within our custom fitting system.
- During this time, an individual anatomical made-to-measure footbed is produced in the silicone sand bed.

And now, as if by magic, the AquaNovoBoot comes into being: the customer steps into the boot box. Through a sophisticated combination of air and water pressure, the manufacturing process of the foamed inner boot and the boot shell starts simultaneously.

The AquaNovoBoot has a completely tension-free shell, the inner boot has, for the first time, an individually fitted tongue and an incredible pressure distribution. And the AquaNovoBoot no longer needs any reworking! The customer needs to allow a maximum of 60 minutes, and then can take their AquaNovoBoot home with them straight away.

What happens before the boot box?
Individual foot analysis and measurement, selection of the right shell, taping ankles and bony points as spacers, and heating the shell – meanwhile the anatomical custom sole is made in a silicone sand bed.
What’s the difference from normal bootfitting?
Bootfitting reworks a standard boot afterwards; AquaNovoBoot makes shell and inner boot to measure in a patented, tension-free system – with no later rework.
