Lake Garda combines an alpine mountain world with Mediterranean flair – and it is exactly this contrast you hike through on this leisure hiking trip. Your base is the cosy Hotel Pace in Torri del Benaco, just 200 metres from the lake and the town centre. From here you explore the most beautiful corners of the region with a local hiking guide.
The tours range from picturesque Limone sul Garda with its historic lemon gardens via Monte Baldo, the “Garden of Europe”, to the historic Ponale road from Riva del Garda to Pregasina with its spectacular lake views. A highlight is the hike over the Ballino Pass to the emerald-green Lake Tenno with the medieval village of Canale and a castle visit.
Along the way you enjoy boat trips (Riva–Limone–Riva), the modern panorama cable car up Monte Baldo, a visit to an olive-oil mill and a lemon garden as well as regional specialities. Travel is by comfort coach from Saxony/Ore Mountains with free home pick-up.

2 Day 2 · Limone sul Garda
Varied day trip by boat to Limone. Visit to the picturesque old town, walk along the lakeside promenade and the San Giovanni stream to a traditional olive-oil mill, Daniele Comboni memorial church, La Milanese farm, historic lemon garden, optional detour into the Alto Garda national park.
3 Day 3 · Monte Baldo
Modern panorama cable car up to 1,650 m. Scenic high-level hike on old mule tracks, descent through the forest.
4 Day 4 · Ponale road & Ledro valley
Historic Ponale road from Riva del Garda to Pregasina through tunnels with lake views. Café stop Ponale Alto, mountain village of Biacesa, bus to picturesque Lake Ledro.
5 Day 5 · Ballino Pass to Lake Tenno
